Hi my dear readers,I hope you are doing well.
Today is the last day of this month, and mine oh mine!March has been good to me.
When the snow and cold of winter hit Nancy(where I live in France),I was not amused one bit.
I had to wear jackets upon jackets, long sleeved shirts, thermal wear, cardigans… You name it! The cold turned Nancy into a quiet, gloomy place,it was obvious, Everyone was indoors with their heaters on.
The streets were deserted.
The birds stopped singing.
The trees shed off all their leaves.
We were all coping with the cold and protecting ourselves against the extremely cold weather until, one day in March, this happened.
February failed at being a sunny month.March did us the honours with sunshine, blue skies, plane lines, beautiful sunset and late sunrise.
It was such a relief to us all to have sunshine and to welcome Spring officially. The spring clothing filled the streets and everyone had sunglasses on.
My window’s view of the sunrise each morning gave me enough motivation to get out of bed even before my alarm clock rang.
I love how everything is alive this month, the birds keep singing, the flowers are budding and blossoming, everyone seems happier, the bees are humming, and the trees are green again…
It is a beautiful sight to behold!
I imagined my birthday was going to be a boring day because I was away from home (Ghana). It was going to be my first birthday away from my family, friends and everyone I love.To my surprise,I enjoyed my day and it was one of my best birthdays ever.My friends in France made my day and my Ghanaian people showered me with so much love, food and gifts.Awww,I was humbled by all your well-wishes,prayers that came from all across the world..I love you all.Thank you and God bless you.
Guess what guys?
I found a huge supermarket that sells produce from all over the world at relatively low prices. The supermarket is called “Grand Frais” and I was so excited to have discovered it.
My mouth took a trip to Ghana a number of times with Boiled yam and tuna tomato sauce,Beans stew with fried plantain and Boiled unripe plantain with Palava sauce(spinach stew). These meals are better said in my local dialect but let me just leave things as they are.
I have been praying to God for some Christian books, books by Karen Kingsbury,Joshua Harris and the “The 5 Love Languages” by Gary Smalley.
This week on a WhatsApp platform,a lady sent two of the books in PDF,”The 5 Love Languages” by Gary Smalley and “I Kissed Dating Goodbye” by Joshua Harris.
*Doing the Victory dance* …
I am job-hunting and still trusting God because, Romans 8:28(NIV) says,”And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Have an amazing my Loves.
With love,Esasina xxxx
