Many people have asked me this question
‘Are you working in France?’
My answer “No.”
I know some of you’ve stopped asking because you’re tired of hearing my monotonous answer.
I love to work…
I am not a lazy person by God’s grace…
I do not like being idle for long…
I like getting busy for the right reasons…
I am not here to bash anyone so take a deep breath.
So yes, having so much time on my hands and having nothing to do got on my nerves.
I applied for jobs(different kinds).
I thought of starting a business here.
My mind has literally gone round in circles trying to find a solution.
I spoke to God concerning this issue and felt at peace with improving upon my skills and learning a bit more about the technology world.
I decided to start my blog https://sinakodjo.wordpress.com/, this blog is my baby because it was God and I in my small room working our way through the WordPress site.
I was so proud to see the end result.
YESSS!! WE DID IT!
I wrote a number of blog posts.
I decided to read more articles online.
I started working my way around a few amazing apps.
I spent more time listening to sermons and music.
I spent time experimenting with my natural hair.
I decided to cook more often.
I am glad I did all these…
Fast Forward to this week.
GOD IS FAITHFUL,
I came over to Switzerland to visit the woman who treats me like her own.
When I arrived, she said she had a babysitting job for me for a day.
A friend of hers needed a babysitter for her son.
I babysat a 4 year old German boy who speaks only Deutsch.
It was quite an experience because I did not understand anything he said except for “Good morning,Sorry,No..” (The basic German expressions).
It was not the easiest babysitting experience but the little boy became so fond of me,he told his Mummy that I was his “Schwester”(meaning Sister).
His Mummy overpaid me for babysitting her son for less than 24 hours and I was humbled by the amount.(someone’s salary). She gave me a bottle of perfume in addition.
God bless you and your family.
I am glad for the window God opened for me.
I know sometimes we want to know what the journey will be like even before we go on the journey.
All I know is,God gives us enough hope to take the next step on the journey.
We need to trust God.
He is not a man that He should lie.
GOD IS FAITHFUL.
Very often,we want the glory but without struggles;our struggles teach us to endure and to fix our eyes on Jesus.
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12
